Description

Come celebrate the value and beauty of native plants at Eureka Springs' First Annual Native Plant Fair! Enjoy listening to presentations by renowned local native plant experts, chatting with local conservation groups, and viewing the selection of native plants for sale. Admission to the fair is FREE to the public.

Presentations will be held in the Eureka Springs Community Center's Highlander Room, and SEATING IS LIMITED. Please register below to secure your seat today!

Sign-up sheets will be available for the afternoon nature walk at The Native Plant Garden Project's booth on the day of the fair. Transportation from the fair to Lake Leatherwood Park will not be provided, so please plan accordingly. The nature walk will begin at Beacham Trailhead, shown on the map here: http://eurekaspringstrails.com/lake-leatherwood/

The Native Plant Garden Project will also have a variety of native seed pods to give away! Please bring a small brown bag to their booth if you would like to take some home.

In addition, there will be a raffle of a beautiful walnut salad bowl created from local, repurposed wood by one of the area's finest wood turners, Les Brandt. Other raffle items will include a signed book by Steven Foster, nature prints from Theo Whitsell, a gift set from The Nature Conservancy, and a t-shirt printed with The Native Plant Garden Project's logo.

The Eureka Springs Farmer's Market will be operating concurrently with the fair. Feel free to bring some cash for yummy locally grown food, or bring your own lunch if you wish.
