EU-UK trade agreement: The implications for energy investors
Event Information
About this Event
Energy was not one of the major points of contention in the recently concluded EU-UK trade discussions, and the two parties share a broadly similar vision for the future of energy markets. Despite this, across important areas of cooperation including interconnectors, market coupling, carbon pricing and offshore energy, there is considerable uncertainty and many details left unresolved. Those seeking to finance new energy projects will need to navigate a range of unfamiliar issues.
In this webinar, the Energy Finance special interest group host Ed Birkett of The Policy Exchange, and Matthew Grant of Baringa Partners. They will review the agreement, examine the implications for those financing projects, and consider how cooperation may evolve.
Where recordings are made, these are a member benefit that are accessed through the member-only platform, CFA UK Discover.
