ETIQUETTES OF THE QUR'AN
WITH SHAYKH QUTAIBA ALBLUI
WEDNESDAYS AT 7:30 PM - 9.00 PM EST
It is our miracle and our light. That is the Book of Allah: the Quran. Muslims recite it day and night and seek through it guidance in their daily lives, purification to their hearts and inspiration to be good servants to their Lord. There is much delicacy and beauty attached to it which inspired the masters of the Quran to develop etiquettes to engage with its tremendous wisdom, enjoy its tranquility, and transmit the light from generation to generation.
This course gives an introduction to the discipline of the etiquettes of the Quran that each Muslim needs when engaging with the Final Revelation. It seeks to open our eyes to the rich tradition of how the great people in our History reverend and interacted with their Holy Text. A short master piece authored by a great contemporary master, Sheikh Ali Al Dhaba` , will be covered. The text highlights the basic adaab of reciting, learning and contemplating on the verses of the Quran. No prerequisites are required and everyone sparked with the love of the Quran are invited to join.
