Please join us for a fascinating evening exploring some of India's lesser-traveled areas, including Northeast India known as the 7 sisters and 1 brother as we present:
Friends of the International Center's Scholarship Fundraiser and Annual Ethnic Dinner on
Saturday, February 23, 2019, 6:30 pm
in the Great Hall (I-House at UCSD)
This will be our 120th Ethnic Dinner and we are confident that you are in store for a memorable evening that will include not only a pre-dinner musical performance but also an after-dinner illustrated talk that will definitely broaden your knowledge and appreciation of India's vast cultural beauty.

FAQs
Where is the International House's Great Hall?
The Great Hall is the "upper floor" in the International House - the building with the large glass windows just east of the Pangea parking structure across North Scholars Drive and flanked by Thurgood Marshall and International Lanes.
Is there a vegetarian or other special meal option?
This dinner has a vegetarian and pescatarian meal option; however we do not have a gluten free option and regret any inconvenience this may cause.
How do I request seating with my friend(s)?
Please email any seating requests to icfriends@ucsd.edu, providing full name(s) in your party as well as the name(s) of those you wish to sit with. We will do our best to accommodate your request though thank you in advance for your understanding if we are unable to honor your request.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Everyone over the age of 18 is welcome to attend. You must have an ID showing you are over 21 to be served an alcoholic beverage. We regret that this event is not suitable for children.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The closest parking lot is the Pangea Parking Structure (off of Pangea Drive) - there are handicap parking spaces.
Here are UCSD's parking rules re: free parking
On the main UCSD campus on Saturdays and Sundays, and between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. weekdays, park without charge in any A, B, S, or metered space except in spots that post any of these parking limitations:
- A permit required 7 days a week, 24 hours a day
- Disabled
- U.C. vehicles only
- Service yard
- Loading zone
- Reserved
- Special event reserved
- No parking 2–5 a.m.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
If you are unable to attend the event, your registration/ticket is transferrable, although we ask that if you give your ticket to another, that they be entitlted to the same pricing option as you, and that you also send us an email notifying us of the change at icfriends@ucsd.edu.
Is my registration/ticket refundable?
We regret that we are unable to offer refunds since we are required to guarantee a guest count and further ask for your consideration that this is a fundraising event to support international acadmic scholarships.
