The Moore Center is hosting a workshop for Clinicians, Clinical Administrators and Case Managers. License clinicians will earn 6 CEUs for their participation.
Clients with complex needs and multi-system involvement can pose significant challenges to clinicians providing assessment, psychotherapeutic treatment, and other services. This training focuses upon ethical considerations and standards for direct care clinicians, supervisors, and clinical administrators. The ways in which ethical obligations overlap with legal duties and clinical decisions are discussed and a client-centered model for ethical decision-making is described which reflects the many values, interests and duties which may be at issue in making an ethically and clinically prudent decision.
Case studies for discussion are welcome ahead of time.
Lunch will be provided.
