Event description

In the past decade, poor ethical decision-making has run rampant. In just the last few years, we have seen Theranos, Wells Fargo, Volkswagen, Uber, United Airlines, Turing Pharmaceuticals, FIFA, and Lance Armstrong all make headlines. While ethics training is common in most organizations, is it working? Corporate ethics training, to be effective, must go beyond explaining the laws and organizational policies. Instead, we must equip employees and encourage them to make sound ethical decisions. This webinar will cover the factors that influence ethical decision making and how this impacts management, the organization, the community, and the individual.

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • The importance of ethical standards
  • The role that personal values play in driving choices and decisions
  • To distinguish the difference between virtues, morals and ethics
  • To understand when a decision requires ethical decision making
  • To identify what leads people to behave unethically

*not all State and National Associations recognize this class for the Ethics Requirement. Please check with your association.
