Ethics 101 and 42 CFR Pt II Revision

Course Description:

This workshop will provide current information regarding Ethics in today's addiction treatment programs. Do you know the difference between 42 CFR part II and HIPAA? This will be part of the discussion in this training.


Objectives:

By the end of the training participants will be able to:

  • Gain insight and understanding of ethics for Addictions field.
  • Understanding the difference b/t 42 CFR pt 2 and HIPAA.
  • Gain knowledge re’ Social media and ethics.


About the Presenter:

Lori offers 29 years of experience working in the Addiction field. From having opened and owned her own facility to running a 48-bed facility, she offers a variety of insight and expertise. Helping people recover from a seemingly hopeless state of mind to becoming a productive member of society has been her life’s work.

Her work started in 1989 as a detox nurse and evolved into not only a Licensed Addiction Counselor but also a Qualified Clinical Supervisor. She now spends most of her time training others to be licensed for the State of TN.

A - 6 contact hours

A - Yes, it's included in the price of the training


Q - What should I bring?
A - Bring a sweater, a throw, a blanket, a shawl or a jacket


Q - Are there handouts available?
A - Yesm they will be given out at the training


Q - Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
A - It is helpful for check-in, but we can check you in without it.
