This course reviews the basics of essential oils and the recent boon essential oils have had in the wellness industry. Ethical considerations are discussed concerning the use of essential oils with clients and ethical concerns regarding the sale of essential oils and other nutritional supplements within private practice. Effective and appropriate use of essential oils within a therapy/counseling session are reviewed.

DeeAnna Nagel, LMHC, BCC, CA is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Board Certified Wellness Coach, Certified International Health Coach, Certified Aromatherapist and Master Reki Practitioner. Among other topics, she teaches therapists and coaches about alternative approaches to health and wellness and how to deliver these services ethically, whether in-person or via distance technology. She is considered a thought leader on the delivery of online therapy and coaching as well as distant healing.
