Research can advance our understanding of the world we occupy, but what precautions should we take to ensure it is ethical, responsible, and does not cause harm to others? The duty of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) is to do just that and give you the green light to conduct your proposed project. This workshop will help you understand the components of the IRB and IACUC processes and how to ensure your project meets the highest ethical standards for approval.
