Teresa Joy began her career at age 4. She enrolled in Mandell’s Suzuki Violin school at age 5 and, at age 7, began studying with noted violinist Moshe Bukhspan. By age 12, Teresa had performed at Carnegie Hall with the Metropolitan Youth Symphony, at the Heritage Square Concert Series for Accomplished Suzuki Violin Students and, regularly, with the Arizona Metropolitan Youth Symphony. She made her recording debut at age 15 with guitarist Esteban on “What Child Is This?”, Esteban’s Billboard chart-topping Christmas album. After graduating from New School of the Arts in Scottsdale, Arizona, Teresa attended the International Academy of Design and Technology and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Digital Production.
Since 2004, she has toured the country and performed live on television with Esteban, notably in the PBS Special “Flame Flamenco and Romance”. She has also recorded over a dozen albums with Esteban, these albums charting over 100 times on the Bilboard in various categories. Teresa’s soulful and engaging style has captivated audiences at several of the country’s largest venues including Red Rocks, Colorado and at Severence Hall with the acclaimed Cleveland Pops Orchestra. She has also performed for many charitable benefits including the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Telethon, a USO tour in Cuba with Esteban, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Hospice and Touro University Autism Aid Program. Teresa broke new creative ground with her first solo album, Rosin Revolver, Volume 1.
Teresa Joy finds herself at home on the stage, learning new things about herself every time she plays. Connecting with the music and audience is the highest reward to her. Connecting as well with her father, Esteban, she feels truly blessed they are on this incredible musical journey together.
Connecting her playing with her love of dance and improvisation, Teresa Joy is a true gypsy at heart and her performances exude Passion and Joy.

So, leave your stresses at the door, enjoy being amongst friends, grab a seat, relax and enjoy some of the best acoustic music available in Phoenix.
THE LISTENING ROOM PHOENIX
Created for performers, by performers.
After years of local performing in the Nashville and Phoenix markets and more years of touring performances across the US, marketing professional and music manager Jim Colletti and singer-songwriter Adam Smith set out to create the ideal performance experience for the performer. Jim and Adam truly believe that if the performer has everything needed to present their best possible performance, the audience will surely have the best possible experience.
Musicians and singers face a number of challenges pursuing their art. They must often perform under conditions that are less than ideal, including noisy bars and restaurants, awkward coffee shops or wide-open public spaces where they are easily ignored.
As an alternative, The Listening Room Phoenix offers the perfect space for acoustic performance artists, and the people who appreciate them. Acoustically balanced and technically sound, it provides a pure experience for both the player and spectator, free of distraction or discomfort of any kind. And, each performance is recorded before a live studio audience, which guarantees a rapt and receptive crowd—and a satisfying performance.
Centrally located in midtown Phoenix AZ, recording sessions at The Listening Room Phoenix are open to audiences who appreciate great acoustic music. Some performances are ticketed and some have a simple door charge. Either way, the fee will go a very long way in keeping each artist on their path to success and keeping The Listening Room Phoenix a healthy destination for great music.
