About the organizer

San Jose estate planning attorney Robert P. Bergman is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law, certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.   In practice since 1980, "Bob" works with families in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area to help them avoid Conservatorship and Probate through the use of living trusts and other types of trusts, and provide for the orderly transfer of family wealth to the next generations.

Bob is the live radio talk show host of "Plan Your Estate Radio," heard every Friday afternoon from 2:00pm to 3:00pm on AM 1220 KDOW (Wall Street Journal Network) in the San Francisco Bay Area. Podcasts of prior shows can be found at kdow.biz.

Bob uses an intensive "hands on" approach to estate planning, spending several hours on each plan that he creates.   All planning he does is customized to each family, as each family's situation is unique.  His "Castle Trust" estate planning option can provide asset protection for the inheritance of a spouse, partner, children or other heirs.   This planning option can also protect an inheritance from being lost through divorce, immaturity, substance abuse, bankruptcy, disability, lawsuits and many other causes.

He also does special planning for wealth preservation, planning for special needs persons, and planning for asset protection for retirement plans as they are passed on to beneficiaries.

If you have questions, you may contact Bob at 408-247-0444 or rpb@lawbob.com. You may also "Book a Call" with Bob to discuss estate planning, special needs planning, probate and trust administration, or special court petitions regarding trusts.
