Essentials of Angel Investing

Angel investors provide early-stage financing for high-growth startup companies. Per a recent study by the Angel Capital Association, the average angel investor seeks to make a 9X multiple on their investments. However, some angel investors produce better average returns than others. The objective of this event is to share information and best practices from angel investing experts which may benefit both new and experienced angel investors.

This event is made possible by the generous support of Elevate Northeast Indiana, the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center, and VisionTech Angels.

Panel Discussion Topics Include:

• Angel investing do’s and don’ts
• Portfolio and investing strategies
• Key success factors for maximizing angel investing returns

As an added bonus, attendees are also invited to attend the April 24 Fort Wayne VisionTech Angels chapter meeting at 4:00 PM at Pine Valley Country Club, during which 2 companies (including one from Northeast Indiana) will be pitching for investment to VisionTech Angels members. In addition, after the panel discussion, both VisionTech Angels and Elevate Northeast Indiana will share overviews of some current angel investing opportunities they are working on.
