About the Speaker: 

 

Pang Mei Yee, Vice President, Head of Innovation, Asia Pacific, Customer Solutions & Innovation at DHL

 

As Vice President and Head of Innovation in the Asia Pacific, Mei’s vision is to transform the future of logistics with industry and business partners through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and joint projects. She leads a team of innovators to seed ideas, inspire, connect and engage with relevant partners.

 

Prior to this appointment, she was a partner at DHL Consulting and Head of Office for Asia-Pacific, leading a team of consultants in Singapore who were focused on improving supply chain effectiveness for DHL customers across Asia.

 

The industry experts who will be joining the discussion are Mr. Frederic Gomer and Mr. Radu Palamariu

 

Frederic GOMER (MSc) is the co-founder and managing partner of B2G Consulting, an international consulting firm engaged in supply chain transformation in emerging and challenging markets. With his background as a global end to end supply chain management expert, Frederic has extensive experience working in a range of industries including manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, retail, pharmaceutical, heavy industries & oil & gas. His areas of expertise include providing companies with guidance in the improvement of their global supply chain operations and strategy including leading successful major supply chain transformation projects in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His involvement in redefining enterprise-level supply chain strategy has delivered multi-millions in cost savings. He has coached and supported companies overcome complex business and operational challenges and build profitable businesses in terra incognita, fast-paced, high-pressure markets - transforming their critical challenges into high-value opportunities.

 

Radu Palamariu is the Managing Director, Asia Pacific of Alcott Global. He has been living in Asia for the past decade, across Singapore, Indonesia, and India. He has been working on C-level and top management recruitment assignments with Top Fortune 500 companies and local Asia conglomerates across the industrial sector, particularly for manufacturing, logistics, transportation, supply chain management, and e-commerce.

A frequent speaker at industry conferences across the region, he is also a contributor to the latest technologies shaping supply chains, as well as human resources trends and developments He is also the host of the “Leaders in Supply Chain” Podcast, one of the top global podcasts on industry trends and skills needed in the future.  He has been featured in Logistics Insight Asia, Bangkok Post as well as the MIT Supply Chain Talent Magazine, and sits on the board of Supply Chain Asia.

 

The EMBA Speaker series will be moderated by Prof. Cedomir Nestorovic, Program Director of the ESSEC & Mannheim Executive MBA Asia-Pacific  

 

Prof. Cédomir Nestorovic is Professor of International Marketing and Geopolitics at ESSEC Business School; he is also the Director of the ESSEC & Mannheim Executive MBA Asia-Pacific. He has taught at ESSEC Business School for more than 20 years and is also the Academic Co-Director of the MBA program at the Arabian Gulf University, Manama, Bahrain. Prof. Nestorovic’s research interests include the Geopolitics of Central and Oriental European countries; International Marketing and Commerce, and Islamic Business and Management. He was awarded the title of “Professor of the Week” by The Financial Times in 2012. Prof. Nestorovic is a regular guest on news and current affairs programs providing expert commentary on geopolitical issues.
