Join us for a wonderful day of hands-on learning and skill development in gourmet mushroom propagation… Learn how to grow your own delicious Oyster, King Stropharia, Shiitake, Pioppino, Reishi, Turkey Tail & Pom-Pom mushrooms at home, as we take you through the steps of mushroom propagation with a focus on using waste products and introduce you to the wonderful world of fungi all in a fun and friendly environment!
Our workshop covers the production of fruiting substrates which are made from mushroom spawn. You will learn a range of techniques from the very simple, 'just add water' teks through to pasteurisation methods for straw as well as the more involved sterile teks for enriched sawdust. You will also learn to make mushroom logs that will provide you with years of gourmet mushrooms for very little effort.

Aside from learning all the techniques to make mushrooms from spawn you will also walk away with $250 worth of mushroom growing goodies to get you started.
