Eat Smart Move More South Carolina invites you to join us on our 2014 Regional Advocacy Training State Tour. Learn how to effectively get your message across to key decision makers about the issues that matter to you. The trainings are free and a light lunch will be provided. Learn about the importance of getting involved in making the changes you want to see in your community and the impact you can have in policy making decisions. All regional trainings will be held from 12:00-2:00 PM.

The interactive, skill-building training includes:

  •     Best practices to influence decision makers
  •     Messaging and media
  •     Using social media for advocacy
  •     Talking points on the new Smart Snacks Guidelines
