Escarpment as Muse Art Opening and Fundraiser

Escarpment as Muse is a month long multidisciplinary art exhibition and opening night cabaret fundraiser presenting artistic works inspired by the Niagara Escarpment.
All events will be held at the Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts, 126 James Street South, Hamilton, Ontario!
Exhibit April 29- May 27, 2016
Sixteen artists have been invited to present artwork from their portfolios or showcase new works that have a connection to this geographical formation which runs from New York State, through Ontario, under Lake Michigan, through Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois. Drawings, paintings, prints, photographs, sculptures, literary and collage artworks will offer exciting perspectives on the influence geography has on artists.
Escarpment as Muse Art Opening and Fundraiser Saturday April 29th, 2017, 5:30-8:30pm, celebrates the Bruce Trail Conservancy and the Niagara Escarpment in a cabaret style event which will feature; author John Terpstra, performer Lisa Pijuan-Nomora, artist Margaret Flood, the TH&B Art Collective, Tuesday Choir and musicians Tiny Bill Cody and Mimi Shaw. All profits generated by this event will be donated to the Bruce Trail Conservancy. The BTC, with it's 9 clubs and over 1,500 volunteers manage the maintenance of the marked footpath, and is the thread that allows people in both urban and rural areas to explore this geographic formation that traverses through much of southern Ontario.
