Description
A rare behind the scenes look at two young women’s journey from being on the front lines of the Westboro Baptist Church’s hate-filled protests against Jews, the LGBT community, members of the military and others, to escaping the Church and becoming allies against hate.
As the granddaughters of the Church’s late founder and pastor, Fred Phelps, Megan and Grace spent most of their lives as part of that community. They eventually gained a new perspective from an unlikely source and realized they could no longer support the mission. Hear the story behind their decision to leave the Church - and their family.
