Event Details

Call the buriel, dirt rest.

Errata is based on Michael Allen Zell’s award winning noir novel of the same name, called “literary gold” by Chris Waddington of The Times-Picayune. The story takes the form of 22 journal entries by cabbie and insomniac Raymond, detailing his fateful crossings with a crooked cop, French Quarter stripper, and a buried body. Angela Jo Strohm, who has directed two of Zell’s plays previously (What Do You Say to a Shadow? and Thin Walls, both at the Old Marquer), directs a cast that includes Mark Bryan, Matthew Rigdon, and Samantha Mullen.

Errata will be premiered as part of Page to Stage: A New Play Festival presented by Lux et Umbra, the resident theatre company at Old Marquer Theatre. Errata is being performed alongside Paper Airplanes by Salvatore Mannino and Vivarium by Logan Faust. Tickets are $10 each or $20 for a three show pass.
