Vintage Bicycle Swap Meet at 2017 Eroica California. We are expanding the swap meet at Eroica California. Larger area and more tables for the sellers!! This swap meet is open to the public.
Rules: Our swap meet is for the cyclists, vintage bicycle collectors who would like to sell/trade their own personal vintage bicycle related items. Swap meet sellers are not required to register for the ride, but you must qualify as a swap meet seller under our event rules (read the seller qualification below). If you qualify as an occasional seller under the California Board of Equalization (CA BoE), then you don't need to obtain the seller's permit, but you must fill in the proper form (swap meet seller registration form) from the CA BoE website listed below. This form and the contents of the form will be kept by us and will not be shared with anyone unless BoE ask for it. If you own a store (brick and mortar and/or online) that sells vintage cycling related items, you must obtain the retail vendor space through our vendor application and submit your seller's permit prior to the event. Please visit our vendor/exhibitor page at www.eroicacalifornia.com/vendors for more info.
Swap meet table allocation will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis at the time of check in. We will not assign tables in advance of the event since we do not know how many people are coming. You may write us your preference in the memo section or send us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org), but we can not guarantee it. If you would like to be placed next to someone you know you should come check in together at the swap meet check in desk. We will do our best to put you and your friend close to each other. In the future we hope to do the allocation in advance, but this event is too new for us to determine the numbers in advance. We ask you for your understanding.
You are required to keep the area clean at all times. You must remove all of the items at the end of each day and you are not allowed to leave any items at/on the table after closing. You are fully responsible for all the items and liable for your own actions. Your ticket is good for both the Saturday and Sunday swap meet. However, you are not required to sell both days. If you would like to leave early (close the table) you can leave anytime, but you are required to let the event staff know and sign-off with the event staff prior to your departure. Once you close the table you are not allowed to sell/trade again during the event.
You must obey the directions of our staff. If not, we have the right to ask you to leave from the event immediately.
There will be no refund given once you register for the swap meet.
The Swap Meet seller qualification: You must qualify as an "occasional seller" or have a temporary seller"s permit Issued by the California State Board of Equalization. Please visit this site http://www.boe.ca.gov/formspubs/pub111/ and familiarize yourself before reserving the vendor space.
In order to sell at our swap meet, you must fill out this form: http://www.boe.ca.gov/pdf/boe410d.pdf. and submit it to the Eroica swap meet staff at the time of check-in. If you are an occasional seller, this form will be kept by us and will not be shared with anyone unless the California BoE ask us for it.
