Event Details

This training will discuss the use of Motivational Interviewing & Behavioral Intervention in the treatment of individuals with substance use disorder (addiction). 

Target Audience: Substance Abuse Hotline Staff, Substance Abuse Counselors, Peer Navigators, Outreach Workers, Family Navigators and individuals in related professions.

No Charge to Attend--Preregistration is Required--Limited Seating Available

You MUST attend both this training AND one of the December 14th or 15th sessions. (Overview of addiction and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)).

If you have NOT completed the December MAT training, your registration for this session will be cancelled.

Sign-in begins at 8:30 am.

Lunch will be on your own at 12:30 pm.

The curriculum is the same for either Thursday, January 18th or Friday, January 19th.

Register for the day that is most convenient for your schedule.

Site: Room 126 in Kimball Tower (#28) on the UB South (Main St.) campus. 

Please park in the Michael-Farber parking lot; parking tags will not be required for this training.
