Event Details

This training will provide a detailed overview of addiction (substance use disorder), Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) modalities and available local treatment options & linkages.

Target Audience: Substance Abuse Hotline Staff, Substance Abuse Counselors, Peer Navigators, Outreach Workers, Family Navigators and individuals in related professions.

No Charge to Attend--Preregistration is Required--Limited Seating Available

Please NOTE:

You MUST attend both this training AND one of the January trainings (18th or 19th).

 (Motivational interviewing and behavioral intervention)

Sign-in begins at 8:30 am.

Lunch will be on your own at 12:30 pm.

The curriculum is the same for either Thursday, December 14th or Friday, December 15th.

Register for the day that is most convenient for your schedule.

Site: Room 126 in Kimball Tower (#28) on the UB South (Main St.) campus. 

Please park in the Michael-Farber parking lot; parking tags will not be required for this training.
