They’ll be sharing tips for how to:
- Champion the power of the storyteller and accommodate their needs.
- Adapt to the challenges of the review and approval processes.
- Protect the privacy of storytellers while presenting a compelling human connection.
- Recognize the importance of equitable *visual* communications.
- Be cognizant of power dynamics and share back what has been gifted to you.
They'll draw from their experiences working:
- With families sharing stories that document program success, shape policy, respond to media, etc.
- As advocacy story curators, advocates, trainers, and brand managers.
- As members of families of storytellers who bring their cultural experience and identity to their work.
