Equal Partners - Managing Risk in Family Business
How safe is a family business? What are the flashpoints that could put a business at risk – from family fallouts to divorce?
The Baldwins Accountancy Group (Evolution, Rowlands and Alnwick Accountants), in partnership Silk Family Law, invite you to a breakfast seminar on Thursday November 10 to hear advice and tips from the experts on minimising risks in family businesses.
- Tim Mallon from Evolution and Katie Buckley from Rowlands Accountants will talk about personal and corporate risk; especially from a tax perspective
- Christian Butler and Wayne Lynn from Silk Family Law will outline the business benefits of nuptial agreements, and the potential financial risks of divorce on a family business
- Barrister-at-law Ian Kennerley, Silk’s in-house counsel, will chair a panel discussion, and question and answer session
Free to attend and including a light buffet breakfast, the seminar will finish at 10.00am, with networking afterwards and an optional tour of Trinity House, one of Newcastle’s most historic buildings.
This seminar, a collaboration by some of the North East’s leading firms, is a must-attend for anyone running, or advising, a family business. Please feel free to extend our invitation to a client or a colleague.
