Join us on October 10, from 4:30-6:30 PM at Synapse, Six Seconds' Lab School in Menlo Park, CA, for an EQ Schools Meet-up. An afternoon of sharing best practices for SEL in schools and meeting like-minded educators! You will learn from practitioners who are successfully implementing SEL in their schools, and have an opportunity to ask questions, share your own success stories, and build a support network. The event is open to everybody no matter what curriculum or approach you are using to teach SEL.
The EQ Schools Meet-up will feature a panel of SEL experts, each of whom have an exciting and different perspective and application of SEL. We are fortunate to have Dr. Anabel Jensen, President and Founder of Six Seconds, and immediate past Head of Synapse School moderate the panel!
Following the panel, participants will circulate to different tables to dialogue on different topics of particular interest. Topics might include: the role of SEL in bullying prevention; SEL and social problem solving, SEL activities for small groups; SEL and curriculum planning, SEL and school climate.
If you have a burning idea for a topic you'd like to see represented, or a question for our panel--please email Susan Stillman
Drinks and appetizers provided.
