Event description
R/evolution: The EPIP 2021 National Virtual Conference, the signature event of our 20th Anniversary

About this event

Our conference theme, R/evolution, recognizes and honors the evolution of EPIP and the sector over the last 20 years along with the movement moment that EPIP members and foundations are navigating here and how - the revolution. As EPIP celebrates its 20th anniversary, we continue to reimagine philanthropy so that it better nurtures and uplifts emerging Black, Indigenous, queer, trans, disabled, immigrant, women and POC practitioners who are themselves reimagining an equitable and justice-driven future of philanthropy.

With a mix of plenaries, identity-based healing spaces, networking events, arts and entertainment, and workshops, R/evolution is for everyone, whether you're brand new to philanthropy or a returning alum looking to come home to your people. It has never been a better - and more urgent - time to celebrate and invest in the leadership of imaginative, resilient, and bold leaders in philanthropy. Click here to learn more about the conference programming, theme, and schedule.

Join us, through our four Conference Tracks to REWRITE, REBUILD, RENEW, and REIMAGINE philanthropy.

We encourage the full active engagement of EPIP conference attendees including all of our identities. Creating and holding space for us to be our full authentic selves is all of our responsibility. We are committed to making our virtual conference experience inclusive and accessible, while acknowledging that access needs and capabilities for virtual platforms are ever-changing. Sessions will be streamed with optional closed captioning in English. Plenaries will have ASL interpretation as well. EPIP has chosen a virtual platform which strives toward WCAG 2.1 compliance and has a road map to meet these goals over the next year. However, if there are any additional needs that we can provide to ensure your full accessibility and immersion in the conference, please contact us at tamitha@epip.org.
