EP-DeM Lab Lunch for 16-24 year olds
Fri 4 November 2016, 18:00 – 21:00 GMT
Are you a Young Person age 16-24 who has had difficulty getting the course, the training or the job you want?
If so join us at the LAB Café and help us create a plan for the future of all young people in Europe.
We want ALL young people to find work in jobs they enjoy and will thrive in and believe if YOU are involved in designing your training, your employment programmes and youth employment policies, this is more likely to happen.
So we are holding a series of Labs to hear your stories, create ideas and build a plan of action to make this happen.
The action plan created at this event will be presented by selected participants at a bigger Lab in January (with young people learning providers & policy makers attending).
Why be involved?
An opportunity to have your voice heard on a Local, National & European level
A chance to meet other young people who are trying to make a difference
To build confidence in public speaking, expanding networks and problem solving
*Food and refreshments will be served and travel expenses reimbursed.
EP-DeM Labs is a European project involving four organisations from four European cities, Dublin (Ireland), London (UK), Bologna (Italy) and Calgari (Sardinia, Italy). In each city Action Labs are being organised to hear the stories, experiences and ideas of Young People, Youth Organisations and Youth Policy Makers.
The aim is to find a way to ensure the voices of young people are included when any youth learning and employment programme or youth policy is created.
The results of these labs will be recommended on a Local and National Level in each of the three countrires and on a European Level at the European Youth Conference next year.
