Reinventing With an Entrepreneurial Mindset — Kristin Luck

Somewhere along the way, you may have become convinced that stasis is safer than movement. Consistency feels comfortable; volatility is frightening. But in this ever-changing world, we are constantly forced to reinvent ourselves and, in some cases, our businesses. And this reinvention process by its very nature requires an entrepreneurial mindset. Constant reinvention requires:

  • Driving long-term vision
  • Creating opportunities for growth
  • Fostering new ecosystems

Kristin Luck’s career progression from analyst to research entrepreneur to SaaS entrepreneur and now, growth strategist and advisor serves as the basis for her reinvention framework of Vision, Value Definition, Market Test, Brand It, Land It. It begins with how to think about and focus in on your vision for what you’re building in your business and takes you through the critical phases of clarifying and marketing the value you create; while focusing on work that is meaningful and meets your financial and lifestyle goals.

Whether you’re in growth mode, considering a pivot or an exit or are on the verge of an entire life and career reboot, Kristin will share field-tested strategies for mastering your next big move.

Kristin Luck is a serial entrepreneur turned advisor and growth strategist. She most recently served as a partner and President/CMO of Decipher until its acquisition in 2014 and currently works as a growth strategy consultant, specializing in nontraditional sales and marketing strategies, for early and mid-stage companies preparing for global expansion, funding or acquisition. Kristin is consistently ranked as one of the top 100 sales and marketing experts to follow on social media.

Overcoming Adversity: Panel Discussion

It’s no secret that starting a business from the ground up comes with an abundance of challenges. According to the Small Business Administration (SBA), there’s a 50% chance your business will fail in the first five years. Founders must face and overcome challenges in financing, risk mitigation, market entry, to name only a few. Or in the case of our panelists, FDA challenges, hiring and management mishaps and even jail time. Our panelists have faced these challenges head on and boldly moved past them. In this panel discussion, we’ll discuss strategies and support systems for dealing with adverse situations as well as when to push through versus when to pivot.
