Event description

Description

The Trinity River is our city's greatest natural resource. If Dallas wants to finally realize the full potential of its underappreciated natural amenity, it should let the Trinity River and its watershed run wild.

Since its founding, Dallas has viewed the Trinity River as an obstacle to growth, attempting to bury, shape, mold, harness, control, or transform its river. The time has come to stop trying to force the river to bend to the will of our civic ambition.

Join us for a public discussion on the future of the Trinity River. In conjunction with Trinity United and the Coalition for a New Dallas, we will discuss the history of the Trinity, and the way forward. The decision on the future is now. Join our symposium to add your voice.
