Envisioning CA Speaker Series presents: Cannabis Equity in California

This event is free to the public and will have lunch provided. This event will also be livestreamed.

With the rising number of states legalizing cannabis and the federal government
shifting away from incarcerating nonviolent drug offenders, several California
communities have adopted cannabis equity programs to address decades of drug
enforcement that fell disproportionately upon minorities.

Please join the Center for CA Studies Speaker Series event on Cannabis Equity
Programs where we will learn more about the challenges cities are facing in supporting
legal cannabis business ownership and making employment opportunities
more accessible to low income individuals and communities most impacted by the
criminalization of cannabis.
