Event description

Description

Are you and your students interested in environmental sciences and natural resource conservation? Would you like to take it beyond the classroom? The Snohomish Conservation District invites students and teachers alike for a training on this years environmental topic!

The ENVIROTHON is an exciting opportunity to expand upon those interests in a hands-on, outdoor environmental science competition. Each Envirothon Team consists of five high school students who work together to demonstrate their knowledge in five subject areas: Forestry, Soils/Land Use, Wildlife, Aquatic Ecology, and a current environmental topic. This year’s environmental topic is “Western Rangeland Management: Balancing Diverse Views.”
