Class Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

ENVI and IDL for the Web is a three day course that will introduce users to the Geospatial Services Framework. Geospatial Services Framework (GSF) is an enterprise deployed framework designed to help organizations deploy analytics to enable better decisions through quick access to actionable information. This course will focus on the fundamentals of the server ranging from how the server stack is set up, how to create a custom task, and making a small, custom web application. This course is great for a high level overview of how the tools in ENVI and IDL can be used in a server based environment. It is ideal that students have some level of familiarity with ENVI’s tools and a basic understanding of IDL programming. This course is also going to spend time in web development environments so experience with JavaScript and HTML is strongly recommended.

Prerequisites: Basic operating knowledge of computers required. Familiarity with ENVI and IDL will really help get the most out of this course that you can. Some experience or knowledge of HTML and JavaScript is also strongly recommended.

Because this course is brand new, we are offering complimentary registration for anyone who is interested and meets the prerequisites.

Please note that this is an in person class being held in Broomfield, CO.
