Chemonics International

About US Chemonics International was founded in 1975. We partner with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and other bilateral and multilateral donors to implement development projects across the globe. We have worked in more than 150 countries for over 40 years, focusing on agriculture and food security, health, gender, education and youth, economic growth and trade, water and sanitation, environment and natural resources, democracy and governance, conflict and crisis, and urban development and energy. Our approach promotes meaningful partnerships — engaging local communities as beneficiaries, stakeholders, and leaders — to create local solutions that overcome challenges and drive meaningful change. We do this by delivering a variety of services, such as program design, project implementation and management, local capacity building, performance management, monitoring and evaluation, and knowledge management and communications. Entirely employee-owned, we are passionate about innovation, integrity, and impact, and we implement projects that combine our regional expertise and technical strengths to help people live healthier, more productive, and independent lives.
