Entrepreneurship Workshop: Southern Culture
Event Information
About this Event
At the Atlanta-based packaged food business Southern Culture, known for its flavorful mixes such as butter pecan shortstacks, the owner has bitten off more than she can chew. Though the company has been featured on Shark Tank, was named one of Oprah’ Favorite Things, and has sales approaching $500,000 a year, business owner Erica Barrett has spent way too much money, and now the debt she has is bringing her business and her family to the brink of bankruptcy. In this episode of CNBC’s The Profit, billionaire Marcus Lemonis is going to help Southern Culture become profitable. Tune in to this workshop presented by Homewood’s Own Our Own business accelerator to learn from the mistakes this small business owner has made so you can avoid the pain and loss. The $15 fee includes workshop materials and light refreshments. July 30, 6:30-8:00 pm at the W.A.R.M. Center, 717 N. Homewood Avenue.
