Are you thinking of starting your own business? If so, this program is for you. It covers the steps required for business ownership and discusses the benefits and challenges of entrepreneurship.

This class is led by a team of professionals dedicated to helping you turn your vision into a viable business. Topics include the entrepreneurial process from idea to concept, market analysis and competitive strategy, the enconimcs model of business and risk involved, types of legal business structure, ways to finance the venture, business plan development, and resouces to support success.

You will also walk away with the opportunity to continue your learning by enrolling in the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) “Boots to Business” course www.sba.gov/bootstobusiness . This is an optional eight-week, instructure-led, online entrepreneurship course, which will help you complete a business plan and connect with successful business mentors to assist with the business start-up process.

*Attire is business casual and attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptop or tablet.
