Bell Biosystems was recently named one of the “six biotechs on the cusp of something big” by the San Francisco Business Times, yet it wasn’t that long ago that Caleb, a Stanford PhD, was living on food stamps and “technically homeless.” Since then, he has been accepted into Thiel Foundation's Breakout Labs, Stanford’s StartX accelerator, was a guest at the White House, was honored by BayBio and raised ~$4MM from investors and ~$3M in grant funding. Caleb will describe his path as an entrepreneur and why he believes that entrepreneurs are born, not made. Sponsored by Latham & Watkins.
