This no cost half-day entrepreneurial event features a session with world renowned customer development expert, Bob Dorf, co-author of bestseller, The Startup Owner’s Manual.  Dorf’s presentation will be accompanied by a panel discussion featuring local investors and start-up founders who will answer questions on topics such as what it takes to be successful and pitfalls to avoid. The Summit also will offer information on local funding sources and business resources that are vital to assisting entrepreneurs in starting, growing or expanding their business.

This event concludes with a networking luncheon with entrepreneurial college students who will be participating simultaneously in the annual Who Wants to be an Entrepreneur workshop.

About Bob Dorf

Bob is likely the second most knowledgeable Customer Development expert ever, second only to its developer and Godfather, Steve Blank. Together the two spent nearly two years conceiving, outlining, drafting, rewriting, and revising the global bestseller,The Startup Owner’s Manual, now a business bestseller in the U.S. and many countries around the world.

A serial entrepreneur, Bob left a lucrative broadcasting job at the age of 22 because he had a passion to start his own company, which he did seven times over three decades. Bob’s track record as a founder, as he says: “two home runs, two base hits, and three great tax losses.
