ABOUT OUR GUEST

With more than 18 years’ experience in executive leadership, marketing, mobile technology and accelerating business value, Jason Russell brings a diverse background to his role as managing partner. Jason oversees the day-to-day operations of stable|kernel (https://stablekernel.com/) and draws from his entrepreneurial success to build client relationships and drive business development and growth. Prior to joining stable|kernel, Jason was one of four people on Big Nerd Ranch’s executive leadership team, and he also led business development and marketing efforts for BNR, where he was instrumental in its growth from seven employees in 2009 to more than 120 in 2014. In less than four years, he expanded the company’s app development services from strictly Cocoa to include iOS, Android, frontend web, backend web, design and project management. Jason’s oversight of the business development department saw revenues increase by a whopping 1,333 percent! Jason has worked with leading brands including Facebook, Spotify, Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, LinkedIn, Google, Whirlpool, P&G, Honeywell, Owens-Corning, AT&T and many others. Before joining BNR, Jason was a serial entrepreneur, launching several Asian antique furniture boutiques in the Atlanta area. Prior to that, he founded a poker chip company, All-In Chips. His company’s chips were featured in major retailers like Nordstrom’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods and GolfSmith. Jason began his career in advertising, where he led media planning teams at global agencies BBDO, Fletcher Martin and Ogilvy.
