What is the EntrepreneuHER Makeathon?

From the success of EntrepreneuHER 2020, student-led female empowerment organizations Font Femme and GirlTechBoss are partnering again to host EntrepreneuHER 2021, our free, two-day virtual entrepreneurship event!

We believe that the best way to become an incredible entrepreneur is to think like one. That’s why we designed our makeathon to teach students across the globe the design thinking methodologies needed to successfully start any initiative, whether that be a product, business, nonprofit organization, and more!

Over the course of the makeathon, students will form teams and develop their own initiatives. The event will culminate in Pitch Night where students will pitch their solution via video submission and receive feedback from industry experts in the judging process.

Speakers from Apple, Goldman Sachs, TEDx, AT&T, Stanford, UPenn, Columbia, Yale, and more!

⚡️Found your own start-up with a team of like-minded students in LESS THAN TWO DAYS.

Attendees will have the opportunity to develop their own startups and pitch them to industry experts in the judging process.

Prizes will be given out to overall top teams and superlative winners in many different categories.

⚡️Who can come?

All high school and college female-identifying and non-binary individuals across the globe can participate! No prior experience is required, and the makeathon is cost-free. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SUBMIT A PROJUECT TO ATTEND THE MAKEATHON! You can attend the makeathon just to attend the keynotes, workshops, and panels!
