1. Comprender los principios básicos del manejo de crisis.
2. Estrategias conductuales básicas para evitar la crisis en niños o jóvenes con Autismo.
3. Estrategias de prevención y deceleración del comportamiento agresivo y violento.
4. Evaluar el nivel de riesgo asociado al comportamiento de crisis.
5. Intervenciones físicas adecuadas y aceptables a fin de reducir o administrar el comportamiento en riesgo.

2016 PhD Clinical Psychology and Philosophy Doctoral Degree Pontifical Catholic University of

Puerto Rico. Intern Psychologist “Centro de adiciones para mujeres Madre Dominga.” Evaluated and provided diagnosis through DSM IV TR. Developed and monitored appropriate programs of treatment, including therapy, counseling or advice, in collaboration with colleagues. CURRENT PROFESSIONAL STATUS

2017 Vice-President of the Chapter. “Puerto Rico Association for Behavior Analysis” ABA (PRABA) is to convene behavior analysts and other professionals with the purpose to disseminate information about applied behavior analytic research and best practices, to cultivate an ever-growing behavior analytic community, and to increase access to behavior analytic services.

2017- present: Professor Nova Southeastern University. Behavioral Principles and Concepts and Functional Behavior Assessment.

2008 - present: Founder and Academic Director at Starbright Academy. Special Education School. Supervision and Training of Teachers in the Analysis of Applied Behavior; Preparation of educational plans; Evaluations to teachers and students; crisis intervention. Workshops: Behavior Management in the Classroom; Home Conduct Management; Basic principles of ABA; Autism; Strategies to Increase Verbal Behavior.

2016- present: Supervision of three students towards certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

2015- present: Independent behavior consultant working in different schools and the Department of Education of Puerto Rico. Designing and implementing ABA based programs to teach new skills and reduce problem behaviors.
