The Mathematics Institute of Wisconsin is offering a one-day leadership workshop, Ensuring High Quality Mathematics Instruction in Your District on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at our office in Waukesha.
This workshop is designed for Administrators, Principals, Evaluators, Special Education Directors, and other school leaders to empower them to become better instructional leaders of mathematics.
These questions (and more) will be tackled: What does high-quality mathematics instruction look like during a walk-through or observation? Are there specific things I should be seeing? How can I support effective mathematics instruction in my district?

Date/Time: September 26, 2017 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $125 Includes light breakfast and lunch.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made more than 180 days prior to this event will receive a full refund minus a processing fee of $25. Cancellations made between 180 and 30 days of the event will receive a 50% refund minus a processing fee of $25. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the event.
Credit: This workshop is available for university credit through our partnership with the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
- The Administrator workshop will be offered for 1 graduate or undergraduate credit. Additional coursework will be provided based upon the credit option chosen. (Please confirm your license renewal requirements with the Department of Public Instruction website https://dpi.wi.gov/tepdl as well as your district to inform your graduate or undergraduate credit selection.)
- The cost per credit is $202 per undergraduate credit and $390 per graduate credit.
This workshop will be capped at 35 participants. The deadline to register is September 19, 2017.
