ABOUT THE CENTER FOR AUDIT QUALITY
The Center for Audit Quality (CAQ) is an autonomous public policy organization dedicated to enhancing investor confidence and public trust in the global capital markets. The CAQ fosters high quality performance by public company auditors, convenes and collaborates with other stakeholders to advance the discussion of critical issues requiring action and intervention, and advocates policies and standards that promote public company auditors’ objectivity, effectiveness and responsiveness to dynamic market conditions. ABOUT THE AUDIT COMMITTEE COLLABORATION
The Audit Committee Collaboration is a partnership of nationally recognized U.S. corporate governance and policy organizations. The organizations came together in 2012 to collaborate on projects intended to leverage their individual efforts to expand audit committee member access to useful tools and materials across the spectrum of public companies in order to strengthen audit committee performance and transparency. What is the time of the program?
The progam will begin at 9:30 am until 12:00 pm. There will be a complimenary lunch afer the progam from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.
Will Delaware CLE be offered?
Delaware CLE (2.0 hours) will be offered for the progam.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Shuttles from the Wilmington, DE train station: Complimentary shuttles are being provided to take attendees from the train station to Gore Recital Hall. The shuttles will be meeting the following trains:
- From Washington, D.C. - Train No. 172 NE Regional. Leaving at 7:25 am and arriving at 8:55 am
- From New York City - Train No. 79 Carolinian. Leaving at 7:05 am and arriving at 8:56 am
Shuttles after the Program: Complimentary shuttles will be provided after the lunch to the Wilmington, DE train station and to the Philadelphia airport.
Parking: General Public parking is recommended in the CFA Parking Garage between Elkton Road and Amstel Ave. (GPS address - 79 Amstel Avenue, Newark, DE 19716). Parking Price: The parking charge for the CFA Parking Garage is $2.00 per hour.
What is the dress for the event?
The dress is business casual.

John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance
The John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance was established in 2000 and is part of the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware. It is one of the longest-standing corporate governance centers in academia, and the first and only corporate governance center in the State of Delaware, the legal home for a majority of the nation's public corporations. The Center's mission is to provide a forum for business leaders, members of corporate boards, shareholders, the judiciary, the legal community, academics, students and others interested in corporate governance issues to interact, learn and teach, with the goal of positively impacting and improving the field of corporate governance. Center programs, publications and academic research have helped to shape and influence numerous corporate governance debates and developments on a national and international level.
