This Fall, the Regional Wood Products Consortium will wrap up its initial series of one-day Specialized Innovation Workshops across the four-state region of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Northern New York.

Enhancing Economic Competitiveness through Going Green will focus on specfic activties that wood products companies can engage in to reduce costs, mimimize waste while facilitating market access and strengthening marketing efforts for "green" products and services.

The workshop will be reapeated in five convenient locations across the region and feature local and national experts that can help you answer questions of how and why going green is good for business.

The Woodwork Career Alliance (WCA) actively promotes a skilled workforce for the advanced woodworking industry. WCA is partnering with the Regional Wood Products Consortium - a collaboration between the Northern Forest Center - a 501(c)(3) organization based in Concord, NH - and the wood products manufacturing industry in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and northern New York to facilitate innovation within the sector.
