Event Details

This summer, New England Venture Capital Association in partnership with HawkPartners conducted a survey of Boston entrepreneurs to understand the current view of this eco-system, and opportunities to strengthen it. Please join us on Friday, October 5th to hear the results of the findings.

The survey examines among other things:

  • What are the drivers that determine where entrepreneurs locate their start-ups?
  • What are the primary pain points for entrepreneurs in the Boston-area?
  • How can NEVCA work with rising entrepreneurs to support start-ups in the region?

The results bring to light pros and cons of Boston's entrepreneurial community. Join this call with other NEVCA members to learn more.

This call will be moderated by NEVCA board member and Battery Ventures General Partner, Michael Brown. HawkPartners will present their findings.

Please RSVP so we can contact you with dial-in information prior to the meeting. This call is open only to NEVCA members.

New England Venture Capital Association

The NEVCA’s mission is to make New England the best place in the world to start and grow companies.

Guided by the principle that venture capital returns are a function of the people, teams, ideas, infrastructure, and political climate receiving investment, the NEVCA serves its membership by championing the entrepreneurial ecosystem: Building relationships among VCs and founders, marketing the region as a destination for new companies and capital, engaging students and talent in the thriving startup community, promoting diversity and inclusion within the startup and venture community, and advocating for innovation-friendly public policy.
