About this Event

THE ENGLISH-SPEAKING UNION FOUNDER’S AWARD was created in 1991 by an action of the ESU National Board, to honor individuals who exemplify the three primary interests of the organization’s founder Sir Evelyn Wrench, namely, to foster ties between Britain and America, to cultivate international understanding and friendship, and to promote the mastery and extended use of the English language.

For sponsorships at the Walter Hines Page Society-level ($10,000 and above), please contact Rossana Ivanova at rivanova@esuus.org or at 212-818-1200 ext. 220.
