Join us for this complimentary workshop as we discuss the hows and whys to implementing a FREE After School STEM Academy (ASSA) from WABS. WABS, in partnership with local industry leaders (Boeing, T-Mobile, Providence St. Joseph Health, and more), offers a no-cost STEM Academy for students in 4th through 8th grade. During this time, you will experience how students "Think Like an Engineer" as we explore 3-Dimensional Learning strategies from NGSS. We will utilize the nation’s leading engineering curriculum, Engineering is Elementary (EiE) from the Museum of Science, Boston. ASSA, through the use of EiE and our industry volunteers, provides a safe after school opportunity to all students, while supporting the development of 21st Century Skills. The afternoon will conclude with your own Engineering Design Challenge!
