EngenuitySC is proud to host Ignite!, the region's annual knowledge economy celebration, where a sold-out crowd of the Midlands' most influential business and civic leaders, ground-breaking tech and new media innovators, and up-and-coming talent get together for an exciting, engaging event that's become one of the hottest tickets of the year.
Hosted by EngenuitySC Executive Committee Co-Chairs Steve Benjamin, Mayor of Columbia, S.C., and Dr. Harris Pastides, President of the University of South Carolina, the evening-length event kicks off with a networking cocktail hour with open bar and heavy hors d'oeuvres sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina.
Then, a hand-picked group of the Midlands' top minds give inspiring, 6-minute presentations, followed by pitches from our 3 finalists in the Ignite! Ideas Contest, presented by Wells Fargo Bank. Live audience voting ensues, followed by the awarding of $5000 from Wells Fargo to the winner. Are you going to enter?
EngenuitySC Executive Director George Hutton and Wells Fargo's Holt Chetwood award the 2012 Ignite! Ideas Contest prize of $5000 to Public Works of HeArt founder Will Bryan at last year's celebration.
