This three-hour class will cover the basics of engagement and will provide you with practical, low-cost strategies to increase awareness.

About this event

The world of social media, email outreach and digital communications can be a little overwhelming. When you throw in trying to engage different audiences, it can make your head start to spin. Online platforms are often the easiest, quickest, and most cost-effective way to communicate with your various audiences, but if you aren’t getting traction, it might seem like a waste of time. This three-hour session will show you how to make the most of your effort! We’ll cover establishing (or refining) your online presence, which platforms make the most sense for each of your audiences, and how to engage online with donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders.

There will be plenty of time for Q&A, so come with all your social media questions! You’ll receive a workbook to use during the session and all participants will leave with a toolkit of resources, including templates, worksheets, and helpful links. Key employees or stakeholders are encouraged to attend if the founder or director is unable to.

Note: While this class is specifically designed for nonprofit professionals, any small business is welcome to participate. Our instructor will be able to speak to any differences in your approach with customers and partners vs stakeholders, donors and volunteers.

Who Should Attend?

  • Nonprofit Founders, Executives, and Admins
  • Board Members and Volunteers Interested in Doing More
  • Nonprofit professionals like consultants and freelancers, working with multiple orgs
  • Anyone new to starting or running a nonprofit organization
  • Both new and established nonprofits are encouraged to attend
