We all know that board members are busy. So, in order for nonprofits to harness the best from their board leaders, it is imperative that they make the pertinent legal information about the organization, board service expectations, time commitments, giving requirements and more readily available and easily accessible to board members in a board manual.  Every board has its special characteristics, personal dynamics, requirements for involvement, and a structure that needs clarification. The board manual components can vary greatly and can be delivered via more than one medium. In this webinar we will be focusing on the options and pros/cons of different online manual storage mechanisms. This type of manual puts materials and information at your board’s fingertips and maximizes their time and effort. Our webinar will cover the basics of the virtual board manual including:

  • Components to consider
  • Tools you can use to create
  • Introducing your board to an online manual
  • Setting expectations
