Description

Preceding the Administrative Data Research conference 2018, this workshop will focus on the work of administrative data researchers and their engagement with the publics. We will focus on this research field, but skills learnt will be transferable and applicable to all health and social science researchers who want to learn practical strategies and enhance their abilities to engage with the public.

It is is a unique opportunity to learn from your peers, hear from third sector stakeholders, and fastrack a spectrum of engagement activities that can create pathways to impact.

3:10PM Public Panels as a method for Engagement - Carol Porteous, Ben Matthews and Scottish Public Panel member.

4:30PM Boost your Research! Let’s Get to Work - practical exercise.

4:50PM Wrap up
