Enabled by the Spirit:

Equipping the Evangelizers

The theme for this year’s conference is “Enabled by the Spirit: Equipping the Evangelizers” Attendees will break open that theme at 4 keynote presentations and 2 breakout sessions over 2 days.  The keynote presentations will focus on recognizing where we are in our faith, how we can grow in faith (as leaders and how we can help youth and young adults encounter and experience Jesus), Jesus’ signs and wonders/healing still at work today, and practical ways to witness and share our faith.

Keynote Speaker:  Brian Greenfield

Brian has spoken to thousands of youth and young adults about the message of Jesus Christ. He has written numerous articles concerning various aspects of Christian living. Brian believes that God has given him gifts to bring the message of Jesus Christ to others and knows that there is a prevailing hopelessness in this world that can only be remedied though an encounter with Christ. Brian is currently the Director of Campus Ministry at Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida. He resides in Spring Hill Florida with his wife Genevieve and his two children Meiko and Michael.

F3 The Domestic Church: A Church That Needs Your Support

 John Lajiness

Faith growth in our teens depends on the strength of the family, but many families struggle to keep Christ at the center of their home.  This session will focus on sharing practical ways ministers can engage and support families as they grow together as a Domestic Church.

F4 Let Us be Lights of Hope!

Deacon John McKenzie and Deacon Adam Nowak

This workshop will focus on trying to find hope in a chaotic world and bringing this hope to others. A faithful and hopeful response to the Lord deepens our interior joy, allowing us to be joyful missionary disciples to a world so in need of the Good News of Jesus Christ. This topic is applicable to those who work with teenagers, young adults, etc.

  F5 The Power of Prayer

 Beth Allison

A Mission Trip is more than just a fun week in the summer with friends, an excuse to see a foreign country/new city in the US, or help build a structure.  It is about accompaniment and relationship building.  Learn about the relationship-based approach to mission and how to help teens live out mission in their everyday lives.
